COEUR D' ALENE PARK PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT

Coeur d’ Alene Park has new playground equipment thanks to the efforts of the Browne's Addition Community Development Steering Committee and the City of Spokane Parks and Recreation Department. Parks and Recreation, which implemented the project, provided funds to match the federal Community Development Block Grant funds allocated through the Steering Committee.

In addition to park improvement projects, the Browne’s Addition Steering Committee has used CDBG funds for:

  • Sidewalk reconstruction
  • Neighborhood cleanups
  • Youth and senior programs
  • A traffic calming structure
  • Transit benches

You are invited to attend the monthly Steering Committee meetings:

1st Wednesday, 7:00 p.m.

Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture
2316 West First Avenue
