POLLY JUDD PARK

Polly Judd Park, located at 14th Avenue and Cherry Street in the Historic Cannon’s Addition, is the result of the participation of dedicated citizens in that Community Development Neighborhood.

Members of the Historic Cannon’s Addition Steering Committee chose to allocate Community Development Block Grant funds for this park and then took an active role in planning and guiding its development.

Besides the accomplishment of Polly Judd Park, the Steering Committee has used Community Development Block Grant funds for:

  • Rehabilitation of owner-occupied single family housing
  • Neighborhood cleanups
  • Sidewalk reconstruction
  • Street tree plantings
  • Social service programs for youth and women

You are welcome to attend Historic Cannon's Addition Steering Committee meetings.
