Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
funds help to provide a variety of public services in the City of Spokane by supporting community and senior
centers, providing child care, establishing after-school recreation programs, cleaning up
neighborhoods, fighting crime, operating health and dental clinics, providing food and
shelter for the homeless and teaching job skills.
Activities funded with CDBG funds must
address at least one of the CDBG national objectives.
